Synology Introduces BeeDrive Backup Application

Synology has recently launched its BeeDrive backup application, allowing users to make simultaneous backups of multiple devices. Through a Synology BeeDrive connected to a PC, users can choose which folders they want to protect and the BeeDrive will automatically back up any changes to these folders right away.

Backup Files on Mobile Devices

In addition to backing up files on a PC, users can also back up files on mobile devices via the Wi-Fi network. This process is started with an easy to scan QR code. The BeeDrop feature allows users to send files directly to their BeeDrive wirelessly, no matter where they are.

Very Fast File Transfer

Synology claims that users of the BeeDrive are not affected by broadband limits set by their internet or cloud providers, allowing the application to quickly back up large files from PCs and mobile devices.
The Synology BeeDrive is now available in 1TB and 2TB versions for use with Windows, Android, or iOS. The 1 TB version has a suggested retail price of 119.95 euros, while the suggested retail price for the 2 TB model is 199.95 euros, both excluding VAT.
