Salesforce and Google Collaborate to Democratize AI and Make Data More Transparent
Salesforce and Google have announced a strategic collaboration to focus on the “democratization” of AI to make data more transparent and accessible. This will enable companies to use the data to provide better customer experiences and run more effective and cheaper campaigns for their marketing, sales, service and commerce activities.
Google BigQuery and Vertex AI
The partnership includes better integration between Salesforce Data Cloud and Google Cloud’s big data solution BigQuery. This will enable companies to more easily create unique customer profiles to deliver more personalized experiences. This gives users easy access to all customer data, regardless of the platform or cloud environment it is stored in.
Another component is the link between Salesforce Data Cloud and the Google Vertex AI platform. This integration helps companies bring their own Vertex AI models to Salesforce’s platform, allowing them to better use these models for their analysis of Salesforce Customer 360 data.
Availability
The Salesforce Data Cloud and Google BigQuery integration will be available in a pilot phase at the end of this year, with general availability expected in early 2024. The Google Vertex AI integration will be available in a pilot soon and for everyone by the end of this year. Another integration between Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Google Analytics is also planned for later this year.
