Microsoft Extends Generative AI Capabilities of Dynamics 365 Copilot

Microsoft is extending the generative AI capabilities of Dynamics 365 Copilot to automate difficult tasks and make employees more productive. Previously, Dynamics 365 Copilot was announced as a common tool for Microsoft’s ERP portfolio.

Copilot Available for Dynamics 365 Solutions

The generative AI tool Copilot is now available for Dynamics 365 Finance, Dynamics 365 Project Operations, and Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management. With the introduction of Copilot in Dynamics 365 solutions, employees should be able to complete their time-consuming tasks faster and gain insights faster. Based on this, they can make faster and more intelligent decisions for various supply chains.

Integration with Power BI and Excel

The tech giant is also going to introduce even more Copilot functionality for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance. Large amounts of data are often available for this and it takes a lot of time to chop it into small pieces for better interpretations.
The combination of the Copilot functionality and tools such as Power BI and Excel should help bring this data ‘more to life’ via natural language. Copilot will generate a Microsoft Power BI dashboard or report, including visualizations and summaries, and help refine them by asking questions through the data. Copilot will then help you find the right answer.
