Intel has cancelled one of its GPU SKUs intended for data centers. The 1350, which was intended to function as the middle model within the product line, has been replaced by the 1450, which is set to launch later this year. Intel’s graphics division has been undergoing a transition since the end of 2022, when former head of division Raja Koduri left the company. The Max 1100 is still set to launch in the second quarter of this year.
Intel’s next generation GPU roadmap has been affected by the cancellation of the Rialto Bridge series, as well as US-China tensions, which prevent US companies from exporting GPUs with an I/O bandwidth of more than 600 GB/s to China. The 1450 is likely to comply with these regulations. In addition, an air-cooled version of the 1550 has been released, in addition to the original water-cooled version.
