HPE Aims to Create More Equity for Cloud Access with New Program
HPE has announced a new initiative to support women and minorities with the HPE Diversity Startup Program, in collaboration with Alpha3 Cloud. The program aims to improve access to HPE’s proprietary GreenLake edge-to-cloud platform for women-owned and minority-owned startups, with cloud service vouchers to get them started.
Alpha3 Cloud
Alpha3 Cloud, part of Provdotnet, delivers hybrid cloud, IaaS and PaaS solutions for organizations of all sizes. Alexia Clements, VP worldwide GTM, HPE GreenLake Cloud Services, believes the HPE Diversity Startup Program enables cloud providers to scale cloud platforms to meet customer needs.
CEO of Alpha3 Cloud Ron Sacks said: “Our research has shown that many new startups and high-growth companies will be founded by minorities and women. These companies face significant challenges in accessing the capital and required services they need for success. Our partnership with HPE GreenLake allows us to support this growing business community with just-right provisioning, efficient cost management and the ability to provide our value-added services where needed.”
Universities
HPE has also expanded its ongoing relationship with the University of Washington to other institutions. The University of Houston and Prairie View A&M University are now also included in the new program. These universities are located close to HPE. In the winter, HPE will try to recruit small and medium-sized companies that can better prepare students for success in business.
The goal is to keep up-to-date tech trends recognised, how to transfer ideas to others and how to optimize the day-to-day running of a company.

The goal of the HPE Diversity Startup Program is to provide access to the cloud for women and minority-owned startups, as well as to provide students with the opportunity to gain experience in the tech industry. The program seeks to keep up-to-date with tech trends, transfer ideas to others, and optimize the day-to-day running of a company.
HPE’s Diversity Startup Program is an important step in creating more equity for cloud access. With cloud service vouchers, these parties can get started with GreenLake and have access to the same technology as larger companies. The program also provides students with the opportunity to gain experience in the tech industry, which can help them become more successful in the future.
