Google brings together professional cloud services in Cloud Consulting

Google has combined all of its professional cloud services into one offering called Cloud Consulting. The tech giant hopes to make it easier for companies to access and use all of its services.
Last year, Google Cloud announced that it would invest more in customer success. This includes making services more accessible and providing clarity on services, as well as solving any problems with the help of AI.

The Cloud Consulting portfolio can now be viewed on one web page. The services range from technical account management to professional services. Google Cloud had two goals in mind with this change, both focused on user convenience.
First, Google wants to make it easier to access professional services. Previously, the various cloud-related services could not be found in one place, making it difficult to know what was possible and relevant to a company within the Google system. Now, an organization can evaluate each service based on a short description and a group of use cases. This should make it easier to acquire enterprise customers.
The second point Google raises is the ‘Consulting’ aspect of Cloud Consulting. There are many third-party partners that help Google Cloud customers. These partners can provide advice on data management, AI use, and setting up online infrastructure. With the new service, Google says it can work better with these third parties to advise customers.
The Consulting services are extensive, from training to providing structural advice on complex matters. VP of Google Cloud Consulting Lee Moore hopes to increase the offering even further. “Looking ahead to 2023, we will continue to expand the service catalog. We focus on making it easy to find and use our services.” Moore hopes the changes will provide a more streamlined user experience.
