Gmail users in the US can now take advantage of the Dark Web Report security feature to find out if their email address has been exposed on the dark web. The feature is available to all Google One plan subscribers in the US and can be enabled by creating a monitoring profile with their information. Google will regularly notify users of checks that will show if their email has been linked to any data leaks posted on hacker forums. Additionally, users may be advised to enable two-factor authentication to protect their Google accounts from hacking attempts.
