ChatGPT is a very popular tool among WordPress platform users, according to research by web host Strato. In the survey, a third of the 500 respondents of WordPress users say they already use the generative AI chatbot, among other AI tools. More than half of the non-users indicate that it is likely that they will use the technology at some point.
According to the researchers, the use of AI for WordPress is therefore indispensable.

Content Creation and Optimization

The Strato study also looked at how WordPress users deploy ChatGPT. They use the generative AI tool the most for creating appropriate content for their websites. This includes ‘About Us’ texts, blog posts, FAQs and legal texts.
AI tooling is further used for programming purposes for their websites, discovering errors in their sites, SEO and improving customer support. In the latter case, it often involves integrating AI-based chatbots.
