123RF, a popular stock photography service, has been the victim of a major data breach. An unidentified attacker is currently selling a user database of 8.3 million entries on a hacker forum.
At 123RF, anyone can find images, illustrations, video and audio files that can be used on the website. According to statistics from SimilarWeb , 123RF receives over 26 million visitors per month.
According to a cyber Criminal who posted 8.3 million user data records on one of the forums, 123RF.com was the victim of a leak. From the database probes, we managed to find out that the records contain full usernames, email addresses, MD5 hashed passwords, company names, physical addresses, mail linked to PayPal, and IP addresses.
