CrowdStrike Adds Security Features for a Secure Cloud Environment
CrowdStrike, a cybersecurity platform, has added three new features to better protect cloud environments from attacks. Customers are given the tools to better recognize cloud risks.
1-Click XDR Feature
The first feature is 1-Click XDR, which gives companies an idea of which cloud instances are still unsafe. This is done through software that is automatically installed on all cloud instances. At the same time, the feature helps to map out better security. The feature will support AWS from the start, while Falcon Cloud Security is equally available on other cloud services, but the addition of 1-Click XDR will come later here.
Gaining Insight into Hacking Patterns
The second feature is a tool to gain insight into hacking patterns. Based on the motto “Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer”, this will provide useful information to better secure the corporate cloud. The tool makes it possible to visualize attack techniques that hackers used in the past to penetrate your company, or to explore new techniques that may be used in a future cyber attack.
Agentless Snapshot
The third feature, Agentless Snapshot, is only available for AWS customers. It is a feature that scans other cloud components when it is impossible to install the Falcon agent. This can occur if the operating system is not supported or with PaaS services.
CrowdStrike’s new features are designed to give customers the tools to better recognize cloud risks and protect their cloud environments from attacks. The 1-Click XDR feature is available exclusively to AWS customers, while the other two features are available to all customers. With these tools, companies can better protect their cloud environment and gain insight into hacker attack techniques.
