Dutch Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) software company Fectar will collaborate with British AR and VR specialists RedboxVR and Ultraleap, providing customers with a comprehensive package of AR and VR options and an improved user experience.
Since 2020, Fectar has been offering a Content Management System (CMS) platform for creating, sharing, and experiencing Augmented and Virtual Reality content. The new collaboration with RedboxVR means that the British specialist will include Fectar’s software in its multi-user VR Kits.
These VR kits are designed for educational purposes and contain all the necessary tools to enable students to work with AR and VR. With the help of Fectar’s software and mobile apps, it is possible to give more engaging lessons and presentations.
Integrated Hand Tracking Technology
The collaboration with Ultraleap will soon provide Fectar’s software with enhanced hand tracking capabilities. To this end, the British specialist’s hand tracking technology will be integrated into the Fectar platform.
The integration will provide instant recognition of hand movements, making it easier to create and share AR and VR environments. This eliminates the need for physical controllers, making AR and VR-based training tools simpler and more enjoyable to use, according to Fectar.
