The Netherlands National Cyber Security Center (NCSC) and TNO have developed a toolkit to help Dutch companies assess their security risks and take appropriate action. The toolkit includes manuals and calculation methods based on a basic model developed by the two organizations since 2020. The manual outlines the steps companies must take to conduct a risk assessment, such as disruption of work or data theft. The calculation model then uses this data to estimate the risks of such attacks and determine whether additional measures are needed. The toolkit is primarily aimed at companies and organizations in vital sectors. With the calculation model and the manual, these companies can estimate specific security risks for their own infrastructure.
