United States in the cyber war with the Russian Federation is not limited to its own resources, but “is strengthening its cooperation with other countries with might and main

Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev said in an interview with RIA Novosti about the organization of large-scale centers for attacks on Russia. To this end, European “digital footholds” are being used.

According to him, similar cyber centers in Poland, Estonia and Latvia are actively operating under the pretext of “fighting Russian propaganda.” They are created to disrupt the operation of telecommunications, transport and power networks, large enterprises and government agencies, emergency services, banks and the financial sector, Medvedev added.

According to Medvedev, in addition to the “cyber forces” of NATO and the European Union, operating in the Russian direction and numbering up to 350 thousand people, about 200 thousand more members of international hacker groups working with the Pentagon are connected.

“These are international non-state hacker groups that the Pentagon is actively using for digital attacks on our country,” the politician said.

Medvedev is confident that the main task of unfriendly states is to destabilize the situation in Russia. However, the government of the Russian Federation is ready to quite severely prevent this. And in this regard, it is necessary to carry out import substitution in the field of software and hardware.
