SentinelOne is launching a new platform at the RSA conference in San Francisco to enable companies to counter attacks on IT systems. The platform uses a large language model (LLM) to assist in countering threats, allowing security experts to automate processes that render threats harmless. The AI tool requires little to no coding experience and promises “radically simplified security operations and capabilities of an unprecedented and unexpected nature,” according to CEO Tomer Weingarten. AI is said to reduce the required level of cyber expertise, allowing users to come up with questions that the LLM then processes into an executable security plan. This can range from detecting threats to setting up protocols as soon as an attack occurs. “AI is one of the most disruptive technologies of all time. With our new capabilities, we can unleash the power of AI to let companies control all aspects of enterprise security, from visibility to response,” Weingarten said.
