MyBrand Conclusion successfully moved two of its physical data centers to a new, more sustainable location with the help of partners, without any issues for customers. In November 2022 and January 2023, the SAP and OutSystems service provider relocated the data centers to reduce their ecological footprint, including reducing energy consumption and increasing efficiency. The move also provides customers with more flexibility, making it easier for them to scale up and down.
The relocation of the data centers was carried out with the help of various partners, including Conclusion Mission Critical for housing and network management, Fujitsu as a hardware partner, and Lupprians for moving the high-tech equipment. Despite one data center being offline, myBrand Conclusion customers were not affected by the migrations. Ronald Weijs, operationally responsible for SAP management, commented, “We conduct a contingency test every year, and this move has proven that we can do without a data center for a long time.” General Manager Roel Knoppers added, “I look back with great pride and satisfaction on the relocation of the two data centers. Thanks to a good project organization and the right priorities for all parties involved, it has been very successful.” MyBrand offers SAP Marketing Cloud for a complete customer overview.
