Delta, the internet provider, has announced that it now supports a maximum speed of 2 Gbps for 1.2 million Dutch households. This makes it the fastest internet provider in the Netherlands, with Open Dutch Fiber, KPN and T-Mobile currently offering a maximum of 1 Gbps. Delta’s fiber optic network has been upgraded to XGS-PON, which can theoretically support speeds of up to 10 Gbps.
Delta’s subscription is available for 60 euros per month and can be used for a variety of applications, such as gaming, streaming, and the use of smart devices. The website provides information on where the fiber optic subscription is available. With this announcement, Delta has launched a fiber optic attack on KPN and VodafoneZiggo.
